Lately i have been getting a low number of servers on halo CE.
I turn every filter on.And only with the filter (show empty servers) there are more then 1 page of servers to show.And there are more servers of Halo original maps then the custom maps....WTF is going on?Im using patch 1.8 btw.

face it...CE is dieing

call of duty 5 beta. who has ce and cod 5 beta. who is going to play ce over the cod 5 beta?

I would be playing that if my CPU could support at least CoD4. >:(

COD5 fails.Its a WW2 game same like the other ones only diference is the graphics.And dont start telling me how im wrong that there are a lot of new stuff cuz i dont care.COD4 was cool COD2 was cool thats it.And btw i would play CE more then any COD even COD4 and 5.
But still why would CE be dying?New maps are getting released and they are getting better and better....some people....srsly

ce is dying because the maps that are released just suck, a few people are getting better, but some have just moved on

I just came back from halo CE.
i'v been playing since my last post here.
The server list almoust never changes (people should get new maps or chose some other)
Its just repeating:
cmt_snow grove
cmt_snow grove
cmt_snow grove
blood gulch
blood gulch
sidewinder
Z_coagulation
Z_sanctuary
zanzibar intense
h2_zanzibar
and they just keep repeating...
Siriusly its like these are the only maps.Ever since i went to play only these maps repeat over and over....

I can't see how it does. You get Halo 2 plus the ability to make maps.

LOL - technically it has been dying since the day it was released. But on average there are about the same number of servers and the same numbers of players as before, maybe less right now since school is in session and more people are downloading files every day. We used to move about a 1,000GB a month in 2005 now we move over 9,000gb a month in file downloads. For a total of

COD5 is literally COD4 but with WW2 weapons. Nothing has changed. I'm still going to buy it.

It has so few people on 1.08 because most of the people are on 1.06 (They should stay there.. bloomin Noobs).

But OOE and DAM are moving to 1.08 soon (Yay)

I think when 1.8 came out a lot of people left...Mostly because a lot of em bot or hack or have some mods they cant use now.Or they just didnt want to update XP.

... you didn't need to up XP to play Halo CE 1.08...

Just because there aren't many servers all the time doesn't mean there is something wrong or that it is dieing. Nothing can last forever but people are busy with their lives and pay more attention to that than Halo, as of right now I am one of those people.

Guys CE can't totally die if we stay on the forums! We can keep part of it alive. I mean who could not like CE own custom content creation dude it's sweet!

What is it with people and old games? Correct me if I am wrong. Halo CE is 6 years old. I play Age of Empires 1, 2 and Age of Mythology, Age of Wonders and Rise of Nations. Thos egames are ol,d and haven't died yet have they? Age of empires is a whopping 9 years old and alot of people still play it.

Just because no one is on CE at that time doesn't mean its dead. It just means people are acutally getting a life.

Same for half-life 1, its already 10 years old and it's still played a lot

I just realised there are more people on halo ce forums then in halo CE itself.....and not just now but always......

not just snowcast all the lately new maps are great fun there should be servers of these new maps..Like peril H3.

The regular Peril is better, crappy remakes of Halo 3 weapons and stuff ruined it.

Thats funny.When i first saw the regular peril i only said "this map only needs halo 3 weapons and it will be perfect".

No one plays Custom Maps there, rather, rarely.
