The director is the person who Church is based off of, since he's an AI. Tucker and donut are somewhere with lots of sand, they'll probably appear in the next mini series(if there is one) or in the animated series.

Church might be backed up in that storage thing with epsilon, iirc.

The Director is actually an older Church. Since the Church we know is the Alpha AI then he is going to be different than the director. Also, keep in mind that Church was divided into several different AI's, making him seem different than if he had all AIs.

In the Halo universe the way an AI is made is by taking a cloned human brain and transferring the conciseness onto an electronic storage device.

So what director Church did was make a clone brain of himself, created the Church AI Alpha, and then ripped apart all the other AIs from Alpha. I'm would even venture that Tex was a brain cloned from the original Church's lover. I'm thinking that Caboose never turned in Epsilon, and is going to try and use it to restore the Meta. The Meta it should have been wiped out after the EMP, but it could be possible that the spartan suit kept it protected enough to where it could rebooted.

At the end of the epilogue there is a black spartan. I'm guessing it's the shell of Tex.

Tex isn't with Tucker. In the last episode of season 5 she is in the Pelican that crashes into Valhalla. The blue army said the Reds found a body and took it to their base (Tex). Nobody knows where Tucker and Donut are and AI Church could be dead unless he finally realized he was an AI and made a copy of himself in epsilon. Unless Epsilon is Church some how.
