hmmmm.....so i just delete the edges and WELD...? thats ALL??? i dont have to go trough the 1.open chimp in MAXscript 2.klik listener window and then "export halo sturcture" 3.w8 for it to be done...

i've got a better idea for this thread. Instead of just posting errors, post explanations once they have been posted elsewhere.
So if a guy has an open edge, explain it very well. Then THX can write a more general description of it under the error. Then if somebody is still having a problem, they can post it.

you've got a corrupt bitmap. Re-rip it, or pull a backup if you backed up your tags after installing CE. Assuming it's not a custom bitmap you're trying to create

what do i do for that import the .wrl from CE's program folder. If you're using gmax, use the wrl importer built into Gimp, or the stand-alone wrl importer from gimp I uploaded to this site. And get familiar with SEARCH. These questions have findable answers. Delete references to tags which may be corrupt - those added since the last successful build - until you get a successful build again. Maybe you need to restore some tags from the original tag set or an original Bungie map, idk. Then add back in your custom tags until you find the corrupt one. Then you've almost isolated the problem and can find a solution. Importing an exported scenario.txt crashed guerilla, with an "EXCEPTION halt in \halopc\haloce\source\tag_files\tag_groups.c,#2419: group_tag==NONE || tag_group_get(group_tag)" I found that it crashed when it read a netgame flag with a "wpcl" weapon group tag reference from bloodgulch's red flag. You're missing the lightmaps for Bloodgulch. Either that, or your current bitmap is corrupted.
Recursively extract all tags from Bloodgulch.
