Let's say a Banshee is flying towards you in a custom version of Death Island or Valhalla, and you have a rocket launcher.
You shoot the RPG and it clips off the banshee's starboard wing (assume it takes vehicle damage like the Longsword in Coldsnap), and the banshee and your assailant is crashing down into the ocean behind you.

...When the destroyed banshee remains splash down in the ocean, is it somehow possible to make the wreckage float instead of it sinking as if the ocean was never there?

EDIT: Guns (sometimes) and Ghosts (almost always) seem to be affected by a buoyancy-like effect in the original Yoyorast Island map. Could that be a hint?

I believe its done by vehicle floor, which doesn't apply when nobody is in the vehicle.

I believe some maps have boats that can float on water, it should be possible if the same method is used to the banshee.

Yeah, I guess that explains it. Thanks! -I'll get back to this thread once I get around to actually implementing this.

(except it'll use Falcons and customized Longswords, but you know what I mean)
