http://www.xfire.com/video/2f714/Every campaign map that I re-compile, it always gets screwed. Pelicans\dropships fly weirdly, don't drop off their crew, and basically die on me. Can anyone help me with why this happens? I downloaded Renamon's campaign maps, ripped them with HEK+, did any edits I wanted to edit, and compiled. Could anyone explain as to why this happens, and a way to fix it? (offtopic) Also, how do I get rid of the FPS display while taking videos in Xfire?

I think you put in the destroyed pelicans isntead of the normal ones

Drinking is bad for you=( Quote: --- Original message by: geoff95 YEAH THE SAME ROBLEM HAPPENS TO ME, I SERIOUSLY GOT MINE SCREWED UP, I MADE IT SO THAT INSTEAD OF GHOSTS THERE FR GHOSTS AND INSTEAD OF HOGS THERES GAUSS HOGS, THEN I MADE THE C DROPSHIP FLYABLE, AND SWAPPED THE HUMAN VEHICELS WITH THE COVENANT ONES, NOT A GOOD IDEA (ps i just realized i was in caps sorry) But the thing is, I didn't change anything like that. I ripped it, changed some encounters, and compiled. Quote: --- Original message by: Advancebo I think you put in the destroyed pelicans isntead of the normal ones Yeah, the pelican in the back is smoking...but I didn't change that, nor do I know how to. Quote: --- Original message by: Stan I would worry more about the fps, 7 to 10 is way to low. Sorry it is off topic, but that would lag so bad. Ionno, it felt alright.

I think it is F12 for FPS to show up in Fraps, don't know about the other stuff though.

That would explain it...my video hotkey is set to CTRL + F12 XD Thanks. Hmm, I found it didn't happen when I compiled a different SP map, when I DIDN'T rip using HEK+, I downloaded the tags on the site. Could it be HEK+ messing up the tags?

But they still move me to the wrong places, and I don't get ejected from the pelican.

You need to rip the pelican physics tag from one of the SP maps and overwrite your existing one.

Quote: --- Original message by: Dwood Put a Volume Trigger where you land at and have a script that says "eject player" That's a clumsy way of doing it. Instead of that, use the "recording_time" command: (recording_time <unit>) return the time remaining in the specified unit's cutscene recording. Test for when it hits 0, sleep for a second or two, and then eject. It will work no matter where the pelican ends up. Edited by Me KS on Oct 8, 2008 at 03:02 PM

However, if I recompile a script, it'll overwrite all previous scripts, which'll more or less screw the level up.
Besides, shouldn't this have already been inside the level? Why isn't it working now?
