I think what he's saying is to make the equipment like a grenade so you could switch from frag grenade, plasma grenade, and then equipment. So pretty much you would throw out your equipment like a grenade. Its not a bad idea.

what if we used open sauce and made other gernade types. but: there would only be plas and frag but make the other pick ups able to hold 1 at a time.

He didn't. Those are bitmaps in the grenade hud interface that are never used.

Your post made me facepalm. You can create new bitmaps, BUT YOU CAN'T USE THEM.

If you have a 360 controller plugged in, you could assign the flashlight button to it, then use a script to deploy it using the flashlight.
