Does it matter what you are using the textures for? It would still be considered "lazy" if we were to use the same rules you applied to Advancebo; regardless of what purpose you have for your spartan.

You are correct in that it is different. But both mapping and shader simulation have a goal and purpose in mind. Tell me, why is it wrong for him to be lazy for mapping, but not for shader simulation? I don't think anyone else minds if these textures are used for maps; because they can simply just not play the maps. So far it seems that you are the only one that has an issue with Advancebo's texture pack.

There are others on the 3+ forums he posted this on. And gamegodlazy is also against this.

Atleast advancebo is giving them to the community, this is supposed to be a game to entertain you, not some crap fourm where you need to learn the morals of doing things yourself.I apporve of advancebo, and I disapprove of deehunter due to his rather large lack of intellegence.

From what I see. Most of you are supporting the fact that almost NOTHING is custom anymore. You guys either rip from each others map or have some method of using barely any effort to make good assets. Its either someone remaking something or trying to port ripped content into halo CE. Nothing is new anymore. And this is just a spore of the cancer that is killing halomaps.

Another way to fail. I rip from halo 3 for renders. Effort? How about the reverse engineering it took to get them. You were the same person that said Direct X sucked. And when I told you that halo 3 uses Direct 3d, you said Direct 3D isnt Direct X.

Wtf are you talking about? The halo 3 ripped textures are on my HDD. Spartan 094 got a hold of them and he gave them to csfloyd. I never made them.
