So i said in a other topic that i might be making a texturing tut and that it might take awhile to finish but u might be happy that i have already started :) basically im doing this tut in bits!!lots of bits!! which will be between 0 mins and 30 mins. So iv basically started by showing the basics, which are base metal ,screws, patterns(grip),adding brushes, how to texture a barrel and how to make a scope lens.when im done with those i will do a texturing project which evey1 can follow and i will be using a g36k weapon that wasn't made by me nor was it uvw unwrapped by me but will be texture by me so im not saying i made this weapon and in fact cant remember were i got it from and so cant give credit for the model and uvw's .
heres some pics of what iv done!! i haven't recorded this yet i just wanted to get i feel of what i wanted so hope u guys will like it. if you have any suggestions then don't hesitate to speak out.
all the tuts will be released at the same time but i will be showing pics to make sure it looks 100% good im my eyes and yours :).

i will say this again this is a W.I.P tut and might and most probably will take a long time to finish and mighty not be complete, it all depends on you and me :P(depends on me if im assed enough to finish) i might not do all of it i might do some and leave the rest to you guys.
and if iv forgotten to say something i will edit because im sure i have :P

keep in mind that the handle and silencer are the only things texture! its a tut i do 1 by 1 when im done u will see the hole gun!

and to show a lil less "base" heres a lil bit done :P

and to do with it been to "dark" i think it looks fine and can see it perfectly.

Spike, could you get rid of that background? Maybe put it on white or a light gray, the dark/busy backdrop is distracting. Looks good so far.

I could use some good tecturing tuts.
