It'll be the biped we use in the mod. I'm pretty sure this mod will NOT be open-sourced, as there are multiple people who would rather not have all of their stuff taken by others.

What exactly did YOUR team make in this mod? ripped content dosent count becuase getting it ingame isnt hard and requires little effort.

*sigh* I will say this again. This is a Community Mod. It has been since I started it. It is for the community and by the community. I'm putting in tags and reshaping up the campaign with stuff I find around the community, whether it be here at Halomaps or at Modacity. This isn't just me and Spartan doing a mod, there are a lot more people involved because of their contributions to it.

Please also explain what you mean by ripped. You mean from other games or from maps? There are only 2 things in this mod that are ripped from other games, which are some of the bipeds for AI and supposedly the chief biped.

Basically all the tags in your mod come from other open sourced maps, I dont see why you shouldnt open source this...mod, and by ripped I ment from halo 3 and from halo ce.

I may just selectively protect a few weapons from some teams that don't want content used. All ripped items from H3(biped) or other games (if any) will be protected as well.

^ in a nutshell. A lot of the weapons have been custom now. It's mainly vehicles and like three or four weapons (CMT Ma5k, PR/Shotgun Skin, Flamethrower Revamped, Fuel Rod, Sword) pretty much anything you've see in the past updates are outdated for what we have. The next update will literally be big. It will bring everything up to date with everyone.

It depends if you are making completely custom animations from scratch for all animations or using ripped anims. He's not just talking about getting a ripped weapon model and rigging it with another weapon's animations. I could do that in a minute. Plus, in-game doesn't mean it will be good. Like he said, it has to be tagged to perfection.

^ Has a point. For an example, I am making a combine solder from HL2 for CE, with the actual HL2 bones, and HL2 animations. And since its tough seeing as how I had to rename the bones every time I imported an anim, it has taken me well over 20 minutes to get the combine ingame with one animation.

^Don't be too concerned. Just learn how to box model in 3ds Max or Gmax and you'll be fine. They are both the same in that department, thankfully.

Plane modeling is the way to go.

I know. I just figured out HOW TO plane model after giving it some thought. I just don't have the patience for it. Do your best to plane model. I also don't have a working 3ds program to plane model.

Fixed that part for you. We don't really have assigned roles yet as far as I know, we just know each other's strengths and use them.

I can bsp model and make custom cubemaps. I think I can get a good one for the H3 chief. It's real simple, but does the perfect job.

Meh, I am just tinkering around with levels right now. I don't have a lot of the new material because it is still being completed to perfection. We have a lot of stuff ready to be used and still being changed, so we are getting closer to being done with every tag completed.

He has mark V in halo 1. He gets an upgrade in h2. If he has mark VI in h1, then what gets upgraded? Nothing, but things go on anyway...it just doesn't fit.

also take note that MC does not have a mirror so that he can say to himself 'Oh I'm just SOOO pretty with this armour that doesn't the timeline.'

Simply put: It wont matter what armour he will have, as 99% of the time you won't even see yourself + 094 and the others are not trying to stay in line with the original story (that I know of)
