I have some vehicles I may model, since I recently learned to model. It's up to you which I should make, and here are the candidates.

UNSC SparrowHawk


UNSC ShortSword (I call it FireWing. They could've came up with a better name.)

Also, if anyone can find some good references, I can model this. I promise I won't make it overpowered, and I recently learned how to model since school went out. *again*

Still, I like that slimmer-faster looking design. Even if it didn't look as nice graphically.
And that window on the front looks nicer than the longsword. I like the thinner design. It looks more like a jet/longsword combo, which look great.
And i just noticed it's called the "shortsword' lol

I know, but like Hazard said, they could've came up with a better name. So I released some candidates.

ummmm so what is the UNSC firewing and what is the UNSC sky hawk? I googled and the firewing gives no useful results; but the skyhawk shows up LSs and Pelicans....sooooo...?

I made up the name Firewing. Lol, no wonder you got no results. As for SkyHawk, I found it on halopedia, and it is a UNSC Strike Fighter.

First Strike (the book) takes place between Halo 1 and 2, in that weird universe where Master Chief manages not to be cool (i.e. there's like 15 other Spartans, they're all supposed to be dead except for one!)

My Vote goes to the Sparrowhawk because it just looks so freaking awesome

mmm yes; sparrowhawk does definitely look better; mind u im already making something thats a bit like it....sorta-ish

it also looks ALOT more like the transport from UT2004; later on i may post a pic or 2 just so see the similarity; kinda funny actually

The Sparrowhawk looks awesome and godly. I started to model it, then I got overwhelmed by all of its awesomeness and decided to create my own craft based off of the 'Hawk.

Don't worry, I will make it as strong as a rocket launchers explosion. It will be somewhat relative to a Hornet, although I will try to make it as different as possible.

It's just that when you think about it, we should just stick to animal's names.

ever notice humans use animal names and Covenant use fictional animal names.. EX: Banshee/Pelican Ghost/Mongoose Scorpion/wraith? Besides anything to do with bungie. Why u think that is?

Why not use historical animals. Like leviathan.

well really they use the names of things like ghosts aka spirits; it could make sense because the covenant are really, a bunch of religious fanatics and of the afterlife too; ghosts / wraiths can be viewed as a form of afterlife...?

I think that shortsword should be ziz in relation to the behemoth and leviathan.

hmmmm, axmen ur prolly right on that; i forgot about the fact that it was really the humans that named them in that fashion

And its a elephant in halo 3. Also behemoth is a land creature, leviathan is actually a sea creature, ziz is a flying creature.

I hate to say it but i partially thought the books were better than the game...and Leviathan already taken equals =(, it was pretty good

Well, I'm not going to use Ziz because that just sounds... Weird.

I'd rather have the SparrowHawk. Looks better than the shortsword. And if you have something that has to drop bombs, it'll be placed into a over-ly large map.

It can drop bombs, but only have the bombs be a bit bigger than the rocket launcher explosion. Everybody hates nukes.

UNSC space vehicles are named after historical things. UNSC ground vehicles (Including aircraft.) are named after animals.
Covenant vehicles are named after spiritual things (Ghost, banshee, wraith.).

We went over that already.

Exception to Covenant vehicles:
Seraph. Oh and Scarab.

No a Seraph is a type of spirit I believe, and a Scarab, I don't know, my specialty is Social Studies not Paranormal Activities.

You ever play Extinction? You know that wierd Covenant purple vehicle that sounds like a Banshee and has a laser beam and shoots Covenant Dropship turret bolts?
