There is only so much we can do with the original geometry and UV's. That's not to say the textures won't be edited, but don't expect SPV3's BSPs to be on the same level of detail as T&R exterior or B30:E.

I'm not expecting excellently detailed bsps, but good tileable textures are something cmt should definitely be able to pull off. Must say, I'm looking more forward to the second half of the campaign. I hope that a lot of the things (such as the annoyance of the flood) get fixed up.

Honestly I think we are all a bit drained of the covenant. They were the antagonist for most of h3, all of odst and reach. Flood mixes stuff up nicely and it is the thing I look most forward to doing in the future. The D20 build is pretty awesome even in it's current state, even if it can be somewhat of a grind (as was the original).

most of my "concerns" were covered by other posts, but i just had a question in regards to the textures: are those rock textures the some ones from spv2? its just ive seen dano's work and hes better than that.. i mean we all get sloppy but that just looks dated. so im just curious if those are being updated. if not id be happy to help if you need more rock cliff stuff. i think the best reference to use would be the look sorrysoldout went with with his texmod. the grey/green looks fantastic in halos engine. otherwise no gripes just my 2 cents
