Flood infections are at the core of what we are doing with the flood. I can say with pretty much 100% certainly everything will be infectable, including Brutes, Grunts, Jackals, Skirmishers, and Sentinels. Hunters and Enforcers are the only thing that aren't currently planned, although we have ideas for what we could do for Hunter Flood forms. Yes we realize the biomass of the hunter worm colony doesn't support normal flood infections, but we have an idea to work around that.

Do you mean that they are corruptible by the flood, just like how gravemind corrupted mendicant bias? Or am I missing something?

In regards to Hunters and the Flood, I think a good approach would be to simply have a Flood form (possibly similar to the Tank) that uses salvaged Hunter armor, rather than trying to explain infected Hunters.

That's kind of the idea, as far as Sentinels go, Flood have always been able to control technology, specifically ships and space stations. They do the same thing to the sentinels, just on a smaller scale.

But ships and space stations also have control interfaces that the Flood can slap a wad of biomass onto and interact with. They're not automatons like Sentinels, and it seems odd that the primary anti-Flood unt of the Forerunners would be as prone to infection as a biological entity. Even in the event that they could be controlled by the Flood, I'm not sure why the Flood would want to commandeer them, unless they were so starved for biomass that they couldn't scrape a combat form together (which could equipped with a salvaged Sentinel beam. July is going to be a good month for Halo PC players. Evolved should provide a fresh take on TSC, and hold us off until the first half of SPV3 is released. I wonder when Kornman will update Open Sauce for version 1.10. I already have the regular PC edition updated to 1.10, but, left CE at 1.09 until the new version of Open Sauce is released. Two questions, though. First, will TSCE work with UUI? Second, does the regular PC edition of Halo have to be installed in order to play Custom Edition (I have a legit version and key, by the way)? I keep it installed because I sometimes want to play the stock campaign. Once all of the SPV3 levels come out, I will be able to install all of the stock campaign maps to CE, and would like to uninstall the regular PC edition afterwards, if possible.

@austen1000: There is no pure campaign for HCE, the "stock" maps that are out there suffer from some problems with AI movement and grenades. You don't need PC installed to play CE. There is a new version of the UUI coming out with support for TSC:E.

Or is it still pretty much still just the same ones that you guys used in the released A50 level with maybe updated shaders or textures or whatever? Will the new grunts, ( if there is one ready ) be in TSC: Evolved? Do you guys have new marine models, and are they going to be in TSC: Evolved? Have you guys remade most, if not all of the covenant and UNSC units that are going to be used, or are there still going to be placeholders?

Working with 2 people outside the team to start doing videos for us. Hopefully we'll have something fairly soon. We can't currently film until the new grunts are in, which will be soon, and until we can fix some AA bugs that were caused by our recent internal script changes to prevent overflowing.

They will be using their own shaders for their Chief. I am still pretty happy with the SPV2 model, even if/when we change it in the future, the design is likely to not change significantly.

I can't really describe it, but something just seems off or weird about the SPV2 model. Something about it doesn't seem very UNSC like. To me, it has sort of an alien feel. :l
