Wait, so if Hiralis and grunt eater do this, will CMT credit them as... the main people who worked on A10?

And yes, I am kinda going Lodex on this. (New term, get used to it)

I don't think there is really weapon customization, you can change the weapon position and FOV but not the weapon itself.

Animations for the decompression idea practically done, working on BSP modifications i needed to do. Progress video soon.

PS: @CMT-How many object names can one level have? I thought it was as unlimited as the number of names you could think of. But then how could you run out? lol.

The original idea was that CMT would take Lumoria once it was complete and create a pretty OS version of while retaining the same exact gameplay. Considering CMT can't really do much of anything with gameplay and just graphics, it was a perfect opportunity for them, but obviously as usual Masterz random and spastic plans that's changing constantly get in the way of such organized tasks.

Yes, this is actually an idea I hadn't thought of. Would be awesome to see things like this when a splash goes off in the water, when a nade blows up in dirt, etc.

Also, for you wondering about the C10 rain, it uses a really low quality bitmap for the particles (really low). At one point I made a pretty detailed rain texture that was 512x512 just to see how it would work, unfortunately it didn't seem like much of a difference to me.

Well, we plan on incorporating some cool stuff with biped seats. Hopefully the sparrowhawl will finally work (although we have no plans for it in any maps) and assassinations are a key area of interest.

To do good assassinations. There's assassinations... and then there's awesome looking assassinations.

his assassinations are fine, it's his animation that needs work..... You don't need OS for good animations, just a good animator.

You need OS to be able to do them in a way that is at all scalable for a full single-player map.

Yeah, my animations in that test weren't the best, but it shows the basic idea. And for SP i could make it even more like reach where you have to melee. That was just for an MP test.

As for needing OS for a full length level. I again disagree. I don't see why everyone thinks all this stuff is so hard. Might just have to make my own version of A10 to show how easy this kind of stuff is :/ But then again i am in the middle of 7 other projects i'd like to finish right now. Lol.

With OS you don't need to name and script every unit in order to make the assassination work. there's a difference between making a video of a feature and properly implementing it.

I had to name a ton of scenery to make Lumoria perform decently, naming a few elites and grunts is really not that much work, especially if you just do it immediately from the start.
