I had an idea once, that you'd make one part of the crosshair on shader and another as part of the weapon_Hud_interface. only 1 part of the crosshair turns red, unless you make the shader part of the crosshair red when you fire the weapon.

IDK if we'll want to do assassinations with them, or use player "driving" to let you grab one and use it as a support weapon. Arteen and I discussed a while back how to make the sentinel beams into something more unique.

I made a firefight map? :o EDIT: OH, that map. That map was a test map. I haven't released anything worthwhile at all and a lot of gameplay I've helped with or worked on is not in HCE nor has it been released because I'm too much of a perfectionist/artist. Anything on this site submitted under my name was either done when I first began, done by someone else without my permission (from Megaupload :X), or was a reference sheet for anyone seeking a quick document for AI commands. That's it though. Masterz, has anything new happened at all? I'm curious because I have been completely out of loop for a while and we both know how searching through these threads for answers is.... I know we want to do an update soon with some pictures, but I will say we've been doing lots of weapon experimentation with new weapon ideas that our testers have taken very favorably. We also are investigating new things to do with the fact bipeds can now be entered.
As far as maps go, B30: Evolved's geometry is nearly in a state that can be explored start to finish. Arteen and I continue to work on A30 and we may be replacing one of the boarding action areas in A10. As of now, when compared to the SPV2 A10 public beta, we have cut 4 bsps and added 2 new ones, with this next one being the 3rd new one with 5 cut. A50 got a huge boost in performance the other day, and a new vehicle encounter is being added to the gravlift.
It's a new vehicle to our tagset and can only work on .yelo maps. One cool thing we're doing is making its primary weapon an actual weapon tag with a model, so it will be easy for anyone to make a variant of it once the tags are released. It's current weapon has 3 modes of fire.
