Good to see progress, and im glad a30 is back on the drawing board. That new BSP looks nice and seems to fit with everything else, although I hope it plays well. (one suggestion, work on the ground and its ground texture, along with making the cliffs more dynamic)
On the other hand, b40 looks like it is using old spv2 bsp's that still need alot of work. While those bsp's are indeed epic and cool looking as of now, I hope they become more polished such as the new a30 bsp looks.

I'm going to have to say that the a30 textures are really just too dark imo. I don't like the contract between the bright green and dark grey. Maybe ask Dano to brighten them up a bit cause the forerunner patterns in them are decent.

This looks incredible. Very much looking forward to a release.
And definitely looking forward to seeing the new UI. I've already seen a preview of what OS is capable of with UIs, from that UI preview that nobody seems to know anything about, so I know how awesome you can make it.
For the ODST character, will you be locking out each set of maps depending on the character option the player chooses? As in, if you choose the ODST option, then the Masterchief version maps will be hidden, or if you choose Spartan, then the ODST maps will be hidden.

well... P3's post stopped the argument, that's something i applaud you for but anyway... what plans do you have for c10, what are you going to do? i know you may not even have something started with that map but i just want to get an idea, are you going to add more details, bsps to the level or you are going to remake it from scratch? i'm curious to know about that map (since it's my favorite after the silent cartographer)

The only thing that seems amiss to me is that thermal vision's color is green, and the icon is remniscient of the camo powerup in Halo 3. I can't think of any suitable suggestions for replacements for either, though.
