The mist looks more like fog and that fog ruins the entire atmosphere of how large and important that room is; right now it just makes it look stupid with some purple backround.
If you were going for mist it should be much more opaque (ie, you can actually see the walls somewhat..)

looks good, but put the radar on the top left corner of the screen... :) then again, the radar blip can only go on the bottom left. (correct me if im wrong) so maybe manipulate the hud so the radar actually fits in? Like remove the red palm, with the radar?

I don't understand why put something from another game into Halo if it doesn't work in Halo. Like the HUD elements (score meters, button icons) in your MW2 example and some of the old Zelda maps. They're static and just get in the way. Now what I'm on it, people who copy Halo 3 HUDs also copy the stupid visor outlines and that's some accurate copying for sure but useless and harmful at worst. A quick word Hydrogen. Nothing aganist you but you just add more hatred to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 in my head. Oh sure the campaign is good but multiplayer is just noobtueber pairadice. When I look around corner I see a bunch noobtubers after me. Anyways, I can't wait Halo Call of Duty: Custom Edition to come! It looks great!

Ok, so now my map is in the sapien stage (somewhat). I have some really bad lighting going on and I want some weather as well....  I need a little help with these ESPECIALLY with getting this thing lit the right way and making the bases lit their respective colors. Can someone help me out with this a bit? EDIT: Fixed the outdoor lighting for the most part, now I just need the bases themselves to be lit in their own color. Create some material ID's for the lights. At the end of each name, put a "!" (No quotations.) This renders them in-collidable. Now, where ever you want a light, create a face, and disconnect it from the wall or face etc to create there own element inside of the object. Apply the material to them, (make sure to put a texture down for it as well, look through the data textures for some) and unwrap it. Re-export, re-light it, and you should be good to go. =)
PS - Maps looking good. My only concern is the drop off; you should add something into the sky to make it so it just isn't a gray backround down there.

Just tried doing a test of that... Made a plane called test! and made it have a "mp lights small strips" texture, and then when I tried to run the structure command in tool, it gave me the "ERROR edge ___ is open "
Looked it up in the wrl and it made the edges of the "test!" open, even though it has a "!".
Does the same thing if it's named !test.
What do I do??? :(

Run lightmaps in Sapien for the light-emitting shaders to emit light- they never showed up when I ran it through tool lightmaps.
