its one of those doohickeys, you plug the red and white xbox cables into one end, and you plug the other into your line in on your sound card or motherboard, it lets you record sounds without having to use some camera or other things, its basically the best quality you can get Edited by shadowslayer123 on Jul 9, 2010 at 05:10 PM

Or you could play a Halo 3 video on your computer and record it with a sound recorder(Those that record whatever your PC plays , not one held to a speaker) , then filter with a sound editing program. There are some perfectly fine and good ones out there for free , I love freeware.

I'm now basically close to being finished with my map :) I hope you all will enjoy playing it when it comes out.
All it needs now is a little polishing in the tags and adding a vehicle ceiling and floor.
Can someone tell me how to add a vehicle ceiling and floor please? Would be very helpful.
Thanks.

I miss having people on xfire. I could totally kill the mapper back when he had xfire. I demand your xfire so I can 'aimbot' you to death.

Vehicle ceiling and floor is in the structure bsp tag. find the z coordinate that you want to place it at and then just fill it into the box.

Cool looking map. Fix your UV's though, and decrease the light's (blue and red) power.

Believe it or not, I already tried that, for the last time we worked on that thing. Can't seem to isolate the exact noise. Perhaps you could try any old beep, such as the shield beeping sound sped up? Dunno. I don't unwrap stuff for the record on general areas of BSPs. Why? It takes too long and there are actually easier methods that get the map done faster. Now, interior walls and designs, on the other hand, are completely different stories.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jKtrv7RhlCAninja edit with updated video I was bored after work and made this in a bout an hour. It still needs a lot work to make it flow more "realistically". I hope to make a couple more of these, both as animation practice and for fun. Edited by Stagnant on Jul 14, 2010 at 10:51 PM

ICEE, it looks like the shell is being reloaded near the webbing between the index finger and thumb. I just thought it looks strange (I reload with the end of my thumb).
