yeah I've had a few ideas in the past about making an entire Gundam 00 mod for halo but I have had too much to do already to put any serious thought into it.

Well, I'm considering remaking the Battle of the Citadel for Halo CE just because I wanna see if I can, and how it'll work out, maybe learn a bit of scripting.

The overall BSP idea is simple.
The bowl thing and the citadel structure.


Now, I'm not a great modeller (BSP wise, and especially when it comes to forerunner, and since I dont wanna use the one I found on sketchup, just because thats called being a douche. Putting it into Max and fixing it would be easy.
The bowl and the ground will be rather easy, but yeah.

Wow that's insanely huge. At first I thought the area for the scarab fight was really small, then I looked at the overhead of the map and was wowed. I can't believe all those towers are really connected. Are there any other overhead shotes of other maps?

Thats actually just rendered in Max. The entire map is broken up into 3 BSPs.

1. Entire first Coastline

2. The snowy areas (this includes the interior of the towers, they switch during the elevator ride up. This could also just be a fourth bsp, were the snowy area isnt as detailed, but I'm not sure on that)

3. And last but not least, the final interior battle of the Citadel.

I know all of this becuase you can get on top of the maps area's, and you can clearly see they are broken up.

That picture is impressive though.

Anyways, right now, the hardest thing really for me to model is the windows for my buildings.

Well actually, it isn't necessarily hard, just takes a bit of time. Whatever.

Well let me know what you guys think of it so far, what i should change or fix up, and to whoever can guess what I'm making gets a cookie.

yeah just a plane then name it water!$ then in the material editor add !$ to the end of the
material name.

edit: also link the water plane to the frame.

Yea i did look up how to add it. You make a plane and a mater called "water!$". I dk why is wasnt working/ before, i used premade water shaders, which I don't have/ aren't familiar with.
