For me personally, I think the glow effect should result from the hud's light effect and its unnecessary to make a plasma grenade icon glow just because its plasma. It also loses its sense of clarity in comparison with the other hud icons

Oh god those things. I don't remember how to fix them, last time I had them was a long time ago, but I do know they are a pain in the ass. I believe they are called z buffered triangles or just buffered triangles. Try searching through the official HEK tutorial error section.

Those are caused by incorrect portal placement (I forget the exact name of it, but changing the portals around will fix it), and Z Buffered Triangles like Elefart said, basically non-planars.

Didn't really model a sniper, just made a bunch of boxes and arranged them neatly. I was trying to make a collision model but I don't know how to conjoin all the boxes.

Right click one One of those boxes and go to convert>convert to Editable Mesh.
Go to the modify tab, click on Editable Mesh, go to the part below with all the htings until you reach a button that says Attach, (next to it is attach list) Click on attach list and select all of them. PPPRRREEEESSSTTTOOO

No, don't just attatch. Jesse, just make one big box, or two big boxes. Collision isn't as exact as you're trying to make it. If you were on xfire, I could show you how to boolean them together. No modeling knowledge needed.
