Yes. Open the pump with a screwdriver. You should see some wires. Cut the closest one wiith a pair of fingernail clippers before reassembling the pump unit. Make sure it has time to drain properly before you lock the seat into its upright position. Then try highlighting the picture of the map and pressing Alt F4.

Obviously it is really bad right now but I'll get to fixing it up, it's just that I hardly know where to start.

Make 2 shaders for te model (metal and shine), turn down the the saturation of the illum bitmap and edit the hue and brightness to make it a paler pink (also it's better to make a separate shader for illum an make it transparent(do this by deleting every part on the model except the parts where the illum goes and export it and import it into your scene,than assign illum
Bitmap and attach to the mesh of the original model and make the shader a shader transparent Chicago.)than make the shine a bit lighter and set the brightness low. I can help with multiple too if you like :)

Got some progress. Some of the faces still need to be assigned a different material ID. Shaders themselves are not final.

ive been working on a sp please note this picture is a swamp and it is still in a wip

-cliffs are eroded (like c10)
- terrain is a place holder may not look like it has hills but whatever it was my angle i took the pic

need to do
-add more of a swamp feel (trees vines etc)
-texture

Halo 3 SMG. Shaders aren't as good as Spartan 094's but they're good enough placeholders.


I think I'm pretty much done with this. Needs a good 3p model.


Of course effects, projectile contrails and other sorts are done too, you just can't see them in the pic.
For those who may be wondering, the Halo 3 HUD is totally done. I haven't even touched it in months.

Move it over an inch. the PURPLE GLOWING THING is about a quarter inch from the screen's edge..

I'll do that once I learn how to edit animation origins. Unfortunately I am relatively new to 3DSmax and can now manage to import\modifty\export models. It is on my to do list.

I also rigged the Halo 3 shotgun model into HDoan's H3MT animations. Since Broke's animation set had a glitch in the reload, it was relatively useless.

basically, new animation set for the shotgun.

Origins technically can never be the same as Halo 3's in CE.

JESSE! WHAT HAVE YOU DONE! You didnt invert the green channel for the bumps, now its all inside out. You see on the stock of the smg, those circular bumps are suppsoed to point outward instead of inward.

TBH I didn't like it much on the shotgun. If it looks bad enough I'll just delete the light effects and leave the markers. I'll see what it looks like with the new marker placement first.

It is, but you usually want to avoid that because the lens flare is always user facing and will keep that oval shape no matter how you turn it.

Another thing to try is to remove it from the rear sights, keep it on the front sight but make it larger and less intense. Looks pretty nifty though.

I noticed your plasma grenade still has a glow to it.

For me personally, I think the glow effect should result from the hud's light effect and its unnecessary to make a plasma grenade icon glow just because its plasma.

As for the shot gun, what if you can use multiple lights and use them like pixels. That way you can line them or animate them to give the illusion that its glowing shape is from your perspective, though that may be too much work to do.

Markers aren't taken into account for animation files, at least I don't believe they are since ICEE would always tell me to delete them back when I first started.

You can always link a marker to a frame node and animate it that way. (Yes, markers are not taken into account in animations).
