there are huge differences. Besides I already had a concept going and I kind of used parts of it and re-built it.

Some map?
About 1-2 hours of work, mainly been changing the layout as I go. Haven't yet fully decided the layout, nor the theme/art.

Started from a box, and extruded/connect edge from there.

Working in blocks of 125 and 250 mainly.

Detail will be added later, once I decide on the final layout.

well, it would be easier than creating a whole custom geometry, I could just take hallway sections from the POA BSP.

Yes... just not the exact same dimensions but a tiny bit larger for MP map.

it look like it was a river flowin and had various waterlevels throught eons, so erosion became evident... WTH... why I post such a story...

Cool, I really like how you followed the advice and got rid of most of the purple light. The more natural lighting flaunts the BSP better. Also, great use of green lights, they contrast well with the purple grav lift, and deviate from the normal blue\yellow.

Since my only connection to the internet right now is via iPhone, I cannot post pics of the newer version I just churned out this morning. But, tomorrow, I will upload a video I took of it to some site not blocked by school systems.

Since taking these pics, I have integrated a crashed pod and door directly into the bsp itself, and have relit the map with moar green light coming from the lights, making the tunnels awesomely greenish. Also, I have already, since the fugly alpha bsp version, made numerous changes to the geometry and texturing of the bsp, making heavy use of a detail strips texture. I have also improved the looks of the spire/pillars themselves, making those ugly box areas at the top flow much better. Next, I will be adding some cover around the map in the form of Hang em High style thingys.

@Higuy, adding more detail to some of the geometry in here will prove very challenging, if almost impossible, to me. What I have made so far tests the lmits of my abilities. I really don't know where to go in this case.

lol the upper cliffs have a50 bitmaps when the cliff rock texture is icefields use a50 cliff inner or just a50 cliff :P

Actually, the cliff texture is a layering of the icefields and fracturecliff bitmaps. The top of the cliff itself is completely custom, and uses the same texture of the ground. Do you suggest anything better for a semi-snowy map with the mood I am trying to keep?

EDIT:
@Echo, this is Bo's SPI biped, only modded to have a blue visor and darker armor. Although it looks kick-ass, doesn't it?
