You guys are getting there... You just need to tweak them a bit more.

Since I felt helpful today, I went into reach and got a few screenshots to mimic yours.

That's not so simple...

Anyways, i've been trying to remake reach's mp colors and succeeded, but it messes up the others colors.
I could do that by adding a yellow/greyish detail map blended with double/biaised add (add like in PS that means)
it's 50% blue and 60% red and green, so that it adds that yellow lil thing.
But as I said it's wrong with the other colors, and it's not worth it to make a special script to have that particular correction in team gametypes, so the shaders here are pretty much finals.

And my goal wasnt to remake perfectly the reach shaders, proof : that little bit of reflection.


here's the bitmap if someone is interested in trying what I said.

Hey guys?
Apparently Adjutant cant rip the Reach marine. My friend kindly asked that I get it for him for a cosplay/armor build but it seems to be ... unrippable? Anyone here possibly have a copy of him? i just need the model. If you can get this for me I'll love you forever.

I dunno.

gonna redo the gauntlets and still gotta get around to making a new helmet. if anyone wants the gauntlet mesh before I delete it forever, send a PM. shoulder armor is still WIP.

It's probably high-poly modelling without the use of Turbosmooth or Meshsmooth, I believe his way would be the best for low poly models in combination with OS.

Master noob, try using the handplates from the headhunters' spartans. From the motion comic in halo legends. Or use a variation of the halo 2 handplates

It would be too High-poly for stock CE, that is what I was trying to say. It is lowpoly ofcourse, but it would be still too high for CE.


Doesn't look it to me... he hasn't put a triangle count...

I think dat model up there looks pretty good. The visor bitmap thing could use work (From what I see) and the back looks a tad wonky. Might be the lighting. Does it have a tri count?
