Turn the quality all the way up and the smoothing all the way down when you render.

That handle looks a bit high poly while the sword looks low poly. Also smooth it.

this is my flaregun primary: flare that flys up(r at an enemy) and lights up the ground for a few seconds. if shot at enemy it burns the crude outta them. secondary is a delayed "flash" that u can bounce around a corner and blind everyone :P can also be shot into a base etc so u can bust tru :P Edited by Geared on Sep 17, 2009 at 12:44 PM

the parts under the barrel is uneeded. Also it looks off balanced in terms of weight. And seems to large as a flare gun. And you wouldnt need iron sights, since you basically just shoot it into the air. And, you dont have a trigger. Standard modern flare gun:

Besides the gun looks awesome. it's not like it will break a map if it's got things that people don't like about it. if you don't like it then don't pick it up in any maps it's in.

an unloaded ak 47 is about 9 and a half pounds. with a 30 round magazine i imagine it would be about 10 pounds an unloaded m16 is about 8 pounds, and a loaded m16 with... i think its a 25 or a 30 round magazine is around 8 2/3 pounds the newer ak 74 is 6 1/2 pounds unloaded and probably 7 pounds loaded with however many rounds the magazines hold
i fail to see your point.

(A marching tuba weighs about 8-10 puonds in case you didn't know) But does a tuba have recoil? Do you have to pull a trigger and fire it? Do you have to reload it? Edited by Advancebo on Sep 20, 2009 at 07:53 PM

OK here's my origin (that I made a while ago) for an example of a good one: But then here's the trick: it's an illusion and actually isn't pointing towards that center, but because I have it moved over to the right so much it looks like it. Also note how my hand is rotated on about 45 degrees as opposed to the 90 that you have. Now, you can see my fingers are clipping a bit but you can always adjust that if you show that side of the gun.

I'll wager that a soldier would be considerably stronger than me. thats definitely a valid point. you do have to consider that american soldiers carry close to 200 pounds of equipment though. try this for me: go get your backpack for school, put a few books in it, maybe 3 notebooks and 2 text books. pick it up. is it heavy? now hold it straight out in front of you. its alot heavier now isnt it? the only reason im even talking about this is because one of you said something about holding things in front of you. in reality, its a game. weight is an illusion created using implied force in animations. if you can pull this off, do your animations however you want

Yeah, a trained soldier will be running around for days on end with this weapon held out looking like a retard and giving him cramps... And constantly having all that recoil going in on his arm when it should be taken by the shoulder area... Do you have common sence?
