What I did to test that: I selected every materiel ID with the material selector in the lil tab, and clicked selected and hide. I did that to all of them, and when it was finished, I tried to select faces in the empty screen, but no one were selected. That means I have no face that are not named... :(

Ty for the answer, but Im not a beginner so i dont think the problem comes from there. I have almost 50 id material and they are all named. All faces identified too.

Im desesperated. I tried everything. All my models are in editable mesh, except the frame. this error came since I imported a structure from the map A10.

Model material IDs. Check them, and see if they match with your problem, and if they do, fix. :)

Can you explain in more details please cause Im not sure to understand (talk for a french please)

Ok im gonna try to do my best to describe my problem, but please keep in mind that im french.

ok, so here is my problem: While I am modeling/texturing in autodesk 3ds max 2009 student version, some of my texture (that I wasn't working on) are kind of changing by themself.

I mean, immagine im re-touching the B texture with UVWmap. Then, when I convert the map back in editable mesh, and continue to do things, I realize later that the texture A changed by itself. I dont know how to describe in english, but it changed in a way that I didn't want and I got to re-touch it too. (so its a big waste of time, belive me...)

I've talked with my friend about it, and she told me that It's maybe because all of my texture are in the same material editor.

here is what I mean:



What do I have to do if I want to work without having to re-texture everything everytime?!

I've heard about a program that enable people to unprotect a map to pick anything you want in it. So im here because I'D like to know if anyone could send me the files of the helicopter in the map: ambush. I would need it for my zombie survival solo map that Im currently working on. Sure... im gonna give credits.

Okay, thank you for your advices, but, if its really because of ''my bad graphic card, I still dont understant lol because I made the tag, and excep the 10k faces, the model has not anything special...

Yeah, there is some texture's scratch, but it allow me to export it in halo engine, and play with it. But it do the same scratch in halo, but it still playable.


Something like that (the scratch in the screen) already happend to me when I place the tank model uploaded by kingfigh (the one from battlefield or something like that) And when I asked to people, they told me that it was because of my bad card graphic...

recently I just finished my scenery. Its a simple fence that I made for halo (nothing complicated) so it was supposde to work. But when I placed it on sapien, here what It says:
