I know that people are modding Halo 3 but I'm not really sure if/where they're putting those mods at the moment. Halomaps does make for a good repository.

Personally I'm really glad HaloMaps is still up, it's archived a lot of good memories I've had with this game as well as its numerous projects.

Happy to see this is still being worked on!

Heretic faction is one of my favorite, lesser-explored aspects of Halo so it's always good to see more of them

The game is still alive, but Dennis isn't able to upload new maps because he's been busy lately. Things have slowed down a bit here, but people are still making cool new things. A lot of people use Discord now because it's a convenient way of getting help in real time when you're working on a mod.

People are still around and making lots of things, but a lot of the more general activity is on Discord now: while I'm still of the opinion that Halomaps is the superior repository, it is kinda handy to be able to troubleshoot in realtime.

You can edit them with HEK's Guerrilla, or a functional equivalent. The globals folder is inside your tags folder.

You have to edit globals.globals and replace the six listed vehicles with the six vehicles you want to show up in the game, and make sure that when you place them in Sapien you also checkmark the gametypes that you want them to spawn in.

It is possible to have more than six vehicle types spawn in a map, but it requires some scripting. I don't think it's anything overly complicated, but I don't know much about it.

This is really cool. There's plenty of modding still going on, there just isn't a way of uploading to the main Halomaps repository at present so people have shifted to Discord.
