You can use refinery to extract tags from the .yelo file. map rendered :) Kal El Edited by Kal_El on Jul 29, 2019 at 07:21 AMEdited by Kal_El on Jul 29, 2019 at 07:32 AM

I agree, that is a big BSP. I don't think that should stop it from being a regular .map file though? I mean we had coldsnap, hugeass, and extinction way back in the day. Those maps had waypoints measuring in the kilometers, from the screenshots I only see a mere 600 meters.

Those BSPs are massive in terms of dimensions in the game, but they also have very low detail, most of which having large expanses of flat, open planes in between two bases. From what I'm seeing in these screenshots, the BSP's detail is a lot more complex then all of those maps. Just because a BSP's dimensions are huge does not mean the file size will be large, and that is what matters when it comes to whether or not a map can be compiled. Another way to think about it is: a 3D cube has eight points and twelve polygons (two triangles on each of the six sides). Size-wise, it'll take up the same amount of data regardless of if you made it 1000x1000x1000 or 1x1x1 because the only differences are the numbers used to represent that cube. But if you made it 1000x1000x1000, it would appear big and you'd have waypoints measured in kilometers (1000 world units = 3048 meters). Edited by Kavawuvi on Jul 31, 2019 at 02:57 AM

I'm not sure if it's my absolute mess of a directory or just tool but when I compiled the scenario it wouldn't work. Halo seems to have a 12mB bsp limit for a scenario to compile, and this BSP is a 14mb file.

Nice BSP Storm! Great work & time effort went into this BSP..Good Job Storm!
All I did was to use OS "tools" & Refinery to compile map: Refinery + OS Guerilla + OS Sapien + OS Tool
also...stripped "everything" off map including scripts. Left with an "empty" BSP then added in the items you now see on map with some new scripts to add in the "extra" vehicles

Hey, Kal_El,
you're trash.
Also, garbage maps like these is why people do *not* want to release their work. Imagine putting hard work into a BSP and then someone butchering it like this.

I'm not sure who you are or where you came from but you should go back to wherever that was and just stay there. I don't want to have to read anything you write again. Thanks.

I suggest you do the same you pushy twat with your twat attitude. Also, nobody gives a crap about microsoft's feelings. If we want an editing, then demand it. Nobody cares if you think its unrealistic, nobody. Shut up already. You'll never get an editing kit, and even if you did an autistic spaz like you couldn't figure out what to do with it. IDK who you are either, which means you're probably an irrelevant softskinned pussboy who I wouldn't let blow me. Kill yourself, not even your family would miss you. Edit: Oh I get it, this is the same account that I originally quoted. You got banned and had to make a new troll account to post on a dead forum about a dead video game nobody cares about. Now I KNOW you're a softskinned pussboy who I wouldn't let blow me. Edited by DeadHamster on Aug 11, 2019 at 02:53 PM

OK...here comes Dennis to lock this thread. I am surprised he hasn't kicked off this forum already by bad mouthing his forum as many times as you have. if it's so "dead" why do you keep coming back? Leave already and don't come back!
