Here i bring you a map i've modified, i added reaches' vehicles and weapons
all gametypes are allow in this map

Whats the point of this mod?
i mean the bsp was good, but this mod shows no effort at all, you just copy pasted crappy weapons, placed a few vehicles, (some of them do not work properly and cause exceptions) and done, srsly i could have done a better mod of this map in less than 5 minutes.

May be you are right kinnet, i could've done a better version, but that is all my notebook allows me to do, and i have no much experience to make more things, because as you know, there are few spanish tutorial,just i've seen english one, well if you can do a better version do it man, ''it's a free world', i'm not gonna get angry

The vehicles work, they just suppose you use the default ogg dll. Why that, I don't know, but that's how it works.

I didn't know that some vehicles give exceptions, but for my part, i've played online and lan maps i have edited with those vehicles and i haven't had exceptions , maybe because my old hac 2's version, i think because of the new hac 2 version you have it gives exceptions

Reus and Johnlex are the same person

And dam it, i didn´t notice that the bsp is huge.
And Paxt´s tutorials are good, but the english one are the best.

Do you know that the Patxi's tutorials are translated versions of english ones, so there's no difference, right? Just saying...

Well, there words in english that dont have an exact translation on spanish, like scripting (wich in case would be "programar") but "programar" is a diferent thing.

All what i learned was due to the almost original Polar Bear, Geometry Geek and Pola mee´s tutorials.

2) I actually like the idea of this map simply because the original test map release was in Bloodgulch, and that map was WAY too small to test/fly the ships around given their speed and range.


3) It's a little surprising that no one's made a "space battle" map with these tags, because it would be really easy to get a prototype out there.


4) After getting the download to work I was actually pretty disappointed.

-The strings for the weapon and vehicle names are all jumbled up.

-The sabres don't alternate fire between the guns on each side of the nose cone like they did in the tag release. Same goes for their missiles.

-The seraph is somehow "misaligned" such that the tail section is bent in the "turning left" position whilst going straight and in the "going straight" position when turning right as hard as possible. Similarly, exiting the vehicle causes you to spawn way to the right.

-The frigate (or should I say "missing string") is rather hard to get into, largely do to the fact that its collision is completely messed up/misaligned. Also in addition to being poorly placed, it's weapons are bleh. I think it's scaled too small as well, though canonical accuracy may not be what you were going for.

-Target locator's "invisible" marker isn't invisible anymore.




It's one thing just to mod a map with other people's tags. It's another to do that and take it a step further by messing up the tags.

Even though my name says otherwise, I actually AM rododo. Reporting here because of supposed bugs with the vehicles I have released; the space banshee is known to cause exceptions when entering, because of its sound looping. The quickest way to solve this is to use the default ogg dll, not the updated ones used to compile sounds. In the original release I have included how to contact me to report bugs or for whatever thing you can think of; I did that for a reason. Use these ways to contact me if you have overwritten the original dlls. Rododo out.
