i have open sauce 4 and patch 1.10 does it matter?

What do you mean are you downloading from this site or using hac2's auto download system?

i'm downloading from this site' it used to work and i don't use hac2' will it help?

Okay.......so......I've never heard of this before.....but *shrugs*.


1. Find the map you want to play from this site, once you have it scroll down and hit the red download link.



2. Wait 30 seconds and the download should automatically start.



3. Once you've downloaded it check for it in your downloads folder and extract any way you want and then grab the unzipped map file.




4. Then copy and paste the map into this directory:

C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Halo Custom Edition\Maps

5. Boot up halo and try it out.

While we talk about broken downloads, can anyone get this map to work?

The screenshot looks like Asencion Jakex which was uploaded on the same day, so I'm curious if Dennis just messed up or if I seriously can't get it to work.

Maybe it is as CMT_Tensity in which it might be broken for slayer but not oddball or CTF type games

Yup. I messed up. The map fails to work when added alone to a stock configuration, causing a crash on startup, but doesn't cause a crash when other custom maps are in the folder. It causes Halo CE to load the previous map in the list of maps instead. I had never seen an error like this before until just recently when another map by the same author was rejected.

The map has been removed from the archive. Sorry about that.

Yeah it's weird, it won't load on any of the default gametypes. Just downloaded that asencion jakex, tried a couple, and it wouldn't load those either. Disabling os' gfx didn't make either load, and sprinkle's gameeditor wasn't much help since it was stalled on the ui map. Despite what's said on the demon map's notes, the map is full of various covenant, flood, human, and other things called demon, spider, rifle master, and purple AI tags. It has all those weapons and vehicles too. The spawn point is set properly for all gametypes. The structure BSP being used is gephyrophobia's though for whatever reason. wtf is going on



Edit- And there's Dennis. Reminds me of that guy who uploaded reach grenade launcher tags that was just a pistol model with a picture of the grenade launcher plastered on it. The screenshot suggested otherwise, looking perfectly modeled.

It is indeed a pistol model. Texture is a bit misleading

They are wonderful tags
.item_collection included is for some other gun, Reach gun uses ODST hud, and it's still better 3ds work than what I can do.
