Hello, people from Halomaps. Since many users have their own thread, well i will have mine. The objective of this thread is not be crao, but to aport thing to the comunity that are helpfull. If you have a small petition for something of scenery or investigation or tutorials This is the right place

Lets begin woth some scenerys from h3,

Heres some pics







This is the radio dish from H3 Bunkerworld, as seen in the sky, i have to tell you that it only render from one side and it has no collision

Heres other pics from some scenery i already have ported, but i need to fix the shaders. They have working collision.

I want to port the HR Poa, (Paxti didnt ported, and i needed it), a lot of scnery objects from HR and H3 Odst like the air carrier from Docks, the space elevator etc, and the Elite fp arms from both games, and some caracters like the skirmisher.

Sugestions are received as always.

Many of this tihngs need time some be patient, i will try to update this thread at least once a week.

I have to agree with Flanker, those Radio Telescope dishes are way too dark.

Well, i will later fix them

Investigation

Even if baking lightmaps is not new, i have been using 3ds max Mental Ray to bake lightmaps for Hex Zone.

I've been wanting to see this in-game with a working collision for a long time. The textures look a little iffy, but I'm glad it's been ported over in some capacity.

One of my all time favorite games as a kid. Descent and Descent 2.

I think I'm gonna go dig up the disks and play it again. Horrible graphics and all, material defender!

This entire community is seems to be full of hate mongering juveniles lately, people make threads like this to get honest criticism to improve the quality of their work while most of you respond with troll posts, hateful comments and somewhat irrelevant memes. Mostly now when I come here I see talented people leaving the community or moving on to better engines and projects, the people that are still here and are still modding should be greeted with positive support from you people instead of the various amounts of hatred you spew from the cesspool of your mind. To respond to Emmanuel's post on his work the textures are dark and a little low resolution but not horrible overall. For the people who are saying "Oh for God's sake another one of these threads" it's a forum for posting these kinds of things, the ports and the advancement of his work. If an extremely talented member of the community posted a thread like this you would be all up in arms, excited to see what they had. You wonder why this community is dying? It's because dirt-bags like you harass people or offer valid criticism but with an extremely negative attitude. Grow up and act your ages, or are you all really just twelve and thirteen years old?

TL;DR

Don't be dirt-bags, get along and support newer community members as well as members who wish to show what they are working on.

It has 2 shaders, bright colors and working collision, except the back engines, they where a problem

if you're perhaps willing to modify that, you could make it so that you can go through the central divider. Opens up a bit of the space you have to work with.

7k polies seems like a lot for this map. Please tell me you're going to add an interior. Rip textures from Boardwalk if you need to, they look like they'd fit well in this map.
