My poor http://www.cnet.com/products/gateway-mx6450-turion-64-mobile-2-ghz-1-gb-ram-100-gb-hdd/specs/ even with 4 ram upgrade cant extract or open h4 maps with adjuant... if some one have the h4 WARTHOG model in obj to import to 3ds max 8 with UVW cordinates (i only have the texture)send me to me or post here... when i finish the warthog im going to release with: pic: OH wait tinypic broke the alpha (reflexion map) Edited by Halonimator on Aug 28, 2015 at 06:18 PM

even without OS i can do better shaders halo 1 pc: Red channel is detail Green is self illumination blue channel is specular Alpha Is colour change or reflexion (change the detail function) halo 4 xenon: Red channel is specular Green is specular-exponent blue channel reflection Looks like you only remove the green channel of the difuse Id prefer... first: multipupose with red-detail,green-light,blue-specular,alpha-reflexion(use detail functions in the shaders). second: specular with specular-control_specular,alpha-control-exponent. try this multipurpose hog_bitmaps http://www.mediafire.com/download/kaaayh0vb14w3ie/h4hog_bitmaps.zip USE THE MULTIPURPOSE AS REFLEXION MAPEdited by Halonimator on Aug 30, 2015 at 10:35 AM

Ugh Yes. I usually just drop down the bitmap size by half and never use anything over 1024.

You talk like we are noobs that don't know how to make a basic multipurpose map. And the Hog texture is a diffuse, not a Control map (I know the hog control map exists, but you can't do much with those channels because they suck). The hog diffuse sucks as hell. The metal parts are too much pixelated. And btw that shaders were made in 2014 and it was the best result without OS... don't you trust me?. Pick the hog in Halo CE and try to make it look decent without too much pixelated details. This is the JDK SP Warthog (it looks terrible because he doesn't know how to make decent textures). An, this is our 2014 version from our own Warthog. I know our version doesn't look as the Halo 4 console one, but, that was the best job we did with Vanilla Shaders in 2014. I could make more decent shaders now, but I don't have time to work with them. And, let's be honest... the H4 textures are just horrible. Here's an example of the original chaingun texture. Anyways, thanks for your comments.
