ok, so im trying to find the SPV2 brute tags on halomaps (needed a collision model from it) and i typed "Brute" simple enough, should atleast get me to it, and its not there, then i type "brute tags" and then i get stuff that doesn't even relate to brutes. then i type "cmt brutes" and finally i get it, im not that mad but why does it have to be so complicated to search for things? I'm not sure if this is something Dennis can fix but if you can please look into it one day.

I think is because the search engine is really old, but if you want to find something from halomaps, just google it with the parameter "+halomaps"

You can try using Google by narrowing the site:

site:hce.halomaps.org brute

This is an extremely useful trick to know, since there's not a website around that can refine a search as quickly or efficiently as google. Google has pretty much perfected the art of the "search engine", so why use a half-arsed, often copy-pasted version of a proprietary search in a website? Unless its a major site like Amazon, inter-site searches are rarely more successful and certainly not faster than a Google search with a restricted domain.

Whenever I want to find something on Halomaps, this is my go-to. You can even search based on a description of the content and it will find anything related to it in case you have forgotten the explicit title.
