It was good for like 5 minutes then got really boring and did not sound like Halo.
Lets be real here for a moment and acknowledge that the first 3 games had the best soundtrack, and nothing will ever beat One Final Effort |

If you are on the menu for more than 5 minutes there's no reason for the music to continue being epic and halo-y. Regardless, I disagree. I think it fits the theme of Halo very well. Whether it fits in with your idea of what it should sound like or not doesn't make it any less great. |

Who said menu music can't be epic?
Open Halo PC right now and just listen to the menu. Its great! Halo 2 was awesome as well and even halo 3 had some upbeat parts. |

Just sounds more of the same to me. While I dislike Reach, it's soundtrack was a good evolution of what I liked about 1-3. Familiar yet fresh, while not radically different like H4.

Halo 2 had some interesting menu music to say the least, but I cant quite pick a favorite menu music from any of the games myself. Though, halo 4's menu reminded me a bit of halo 2's
