In other news... we are trying to make some H5 models. I think this is the Rocket Launcher from the MP Beta

To be honest, I don't know. I just uploaded the images that sent to me. Anyways, I'll ask how many polys does it have.

We are in it, don't worry. But, it will take some time to get the models ingame.

Currently my teammates are helping me to model some weapons of Halo 5, so far that they are modeled are the Magnum, DMR, BR, Rocket Launcher and SMG, the AR and Sniper Rifle will not be modeled because these in Halo 5 are basically the same as those of Halo 4 but with slight changes in textures

I don't know if you are interested in helping us in case your teammates are making those H5 weapons.

I made the Hydra and Rocket Launcher a few months ago, I could make the others as well if people post gameplay of them, since I didn't played the beta. I was gonna make the animations, when I told Sean about it he showed me some videos he took of them, but i lost all the links. If someone has proper videos of gameplay where the full animations are showed that would be fantastic. BTW who ever sent me msgs in the past 7 months, gotta say that I can't access my PM's and I have over a 100 msgs stacked, pls people, for the love of God, stop sending me msgs when Ninjacloak doesn't let me reply T.T

We're making a new BSP with more stuff to fill out the map space. New info coming soon.
Also, if someone want to help us with stuff like animations, shaders, weapons, etc, you can contact us commenting this thread, or sending a PM to my user.

It actually would be cooler if you released a selection of pdf guide tutorials for all of the would be foreign halo modders who might get inspired after seeing your completed map.

There isn't much that I could learn from since I already know most of the procedures required to build what you have currently accomplished but I can already foretell newbies wanting to emulate your designs but not understanding how to go about it.

Perhaps a few videos outlining the whole design process of the bsp I.E:

1. Starting off the design in max, do's and do not's.

2. Re-designing an object to suit Halo's engine requirements.

3. Debugging in tool.

4. Emulating next gen game surfaces using current blam shader software.


stuff like that.

And also perhaps something like cmt's TSC:E post mortem guide sorta thing.

1) Make diffuse solid color with simple pattern, doesn't need to be larger than 64x64 for this look since there's no detail in the diffuse

except they look like plastic.

I feel the need to say that I love the color scheme, and patterns, but from the pictures I feel like its made of lego plastic, not the high quality alloys, and the way the spartan armor looks (good) vs the environment (meh) is a stark contrast that throws it all off

that skinning job is surprisingly good. I applaud that. There are a few issues here and there but nothing too noticeable so far. Maybe show it holding a gun so I can probably see if there are any glaring issues?

By now, Hayabusa (a member of the project) is trying to model the Halo 5 SMG from scratch.

Looks really good, but the barrel is too long. I think you guys might have used a warzone varient for ref by accident.

The front handle axle\hinge looks flimsy compared to the original. There are noticeable differences but it looks good so far.

Cross Bridge is not longer a project of the "The Ark Creations" team. Since july last year, the map is part of the ShadowMods projects, but (as you know because you generally comment in our Facebook posts) Forgotten is our main project. After the Forgotten release, we will continue with the others: Cross Bridge and a port of the Halo 4 map "Haven".

Maybe we will show some stuff in the last CE3. Greetings.
