Even if this crappy excuse for a PC game came to us all, what good will an EK do? This is an Online, multiplayer PvP style game. Anything that could possibly be edited would be half of what you can do now with CE. It is highly unlikely any said EK would contain any source, codebase or compiling tools to essentially build anuthing worth while outside of weapons and maps.

The whole premise of this game is a cash cow micro trans scheme. Since paying for the ultimate gear to rent is the the obvious key to ots success, why would anyone play or want custom content that would likely have no stat improvement or overall playability to entice players?

This game is a fudging disgrace to the Halo name and brand. Just looking over the files for this game, it looks as if most of the game will streamed and stored locally and likely all be synced to the master servers to negate any real modding.

after playing around in the maps the game feels very much like a halo game.


BUUUUUUT once you add in the purchaseable weapons the game is ruined...

The game seems awesome. I don't think the purchasable things will be bad at all. I doubt it would make the game drastically unbalanced when Halo has never been about balance in the first place. It wasn't until the later games this concept of balance has ruined this game. CE multiplayer has never been competitive because you join a server mid-game all the time. I look forward to seeing the community creating tools that allows us to create content for it. Many tools we take for granted in the custom edition community were created by the players (HEK+). At first I don't even care about creating new weapons and vehicles. I'm all for creating new levels because the sandbox will keep me entertained for some time.

Its literally just halo 4 models though. It could be useful to have some rigs that will actually work with CE though. (H3 rigs work with CE)

it wont though. at least it wont feel like halo in any way shape or form thanks to those microtransaction weapons which you can spend cash on to rent or grind for who knows how many hours to get. if 343 can prove me wrong ill be impressed but i doubt it. this kind of free to play idea just doesn't fit into an arena shooter...

no, it doesn't have spawn points.

It only has MP spawnpoints.

We already managed to change the game to English.

Apparently people in their giddy zeal to discuss another Halo game are not getting the message so I will spell it out.

This is a Halo Custom Edition form and like all forums on this site it is Topic Specific, meaning you are only allowed to carry on discussions pertaining to the subject of the forum.

Because I am not a computer there is a certain latitude granted for discussion of other Halo games. However as in the past this usually means that those discussions are limited to one or two threads.
