I downloaded some HCE maps from this website, and then when i try to start Halo it gives me a fatal error message also says something like "area53.map" was the problem of that error, and it does this for every other map i download it gives me the same error message and says its because of that certain map. So what i can't play maps from your website? whats up with this i never had this issue before and to be honest it's kinda annoying someone help me please, thanks.

Do you have add-ons such as HAC 2 or Open Sauce installed?

Everyone on the forum, or at least if your not a noob around here you would know that Halo CE means custom edition while Halo PC means Halo without modding. |

And how exactly were we supposed to know that you weren't "a noob" when your join date is yesterday, and you have no proper bio set up... Can't really blame him for asking you. Also as MooseGuy said try reinstalling the game. Wipe everything you have pertinent to Halo CE, then reinstall, except this time try installing in a non default location (as in choose your own custom directory, I have mine installed directly in (C:) ). Then re-download the maps that you have to and try again. Hope it helps. |
