Well just because you can't get a legal copy doesn't mean you should request the multiplayer online section get cut from the UI. (I don't mean specifically you you).

As far as I know it's almost impossible to find a new copy of Halo CE in Europe, or have one shipped there without knowing someone who can do it for you.

Not everyone in Europe lives in the UK. And besides the UK, it seems the only other European Amazon site that has it reasonably priced is Spain. That is assuming that people want to buy a brand new copy.

I figured as so does Amazon.com, but international shipping costs quite a bit there. Is it fairly priced on the UK site?

I ordered a camera + tripod out of amazon.co.uk once, though waiting 3-4 months, I had no other excuse not to call them anymore. After a 15 minute wait-in-line call, a woman with a russian accent spoke to me, me explaining my problem, returning after yet another 15 minute margin telling me that they haven't even moved my order out of their shelves.

I cancelled it and I do seem to recall having to pay 19% more for shipping and land transport services, but I had to pay 8,99% of it back for cancelling an order that was never moved. DOH

I ordered some books and Lego (disclaimer: for my nephews, although I'm sure most of us here also love to play with Lego ourselves...) off of amazon.co.uk before.
Shipping rates are what they are, but in some cases there aren't much (better) alternatives. I think per book it was like 7 euros shipping cost. I don't mind paying it when the book costs like 50 euros itself, but it's harder to justify for a Halo CE game that costs only 2 euros by itself. But yeah, not much alternatives...

I'll add to this that I haven't had any problems with deliveries, always nicely on time.

Amazon US is like god of internet stores

Amazon UK is great if you live in the UK like me but Amazon in general isn't great for imports, I hear.

Shouldn't be all that expensive as long as you live in the EU though because they certainly shouldn't be charging the ridiculous import taxes that I hear the US charges.(I believe the EU has an agreement on import tax?)
