Just heard about the game and it looks a lot like halo. It will come on steam only but not other platforms.

This is either a new Section 8 game, or a super heavily inspired by Section 8 game, because it looks really similar from weapons down to the HUD's.

Its that new Quake/Doom styled classic Arena shooter. I'll try to grab the name if possible but I remember the reveal trailer was something along the lines of "No BS"

I have had a lot of fun with the alpha surprisingly. I need to boot it up again at some point.

People actually liked that? I bought it and it was terrible. Not just from the video options menu but the controls were pretty badly made. The worst offender was vehicles and I'm still not sure how you can mess up that badly. I'm struggling to see any reason to finish the game. Storyline is not exactly even something I would call average to be honest. The gameplay has nothing special and the art style isn't exactly pretty.

I tried Halo Spartan assault, but didn't like it. I think Alien Swarm is a much better top-down 3rd person shooter.

If you look at it like a phone game, it was fantastic. If you look at it like a halo game, it was trash. Honestly I too am struggling to actually finish it because the missions seem far too similar, and I'm surprised MS is still asking for money for it.

That was my first thought.

Can we have Section 9 game yet.
