masterz had nothing to do with this project's creation. actually, he was opposed to it...!

Honestly I think this has been a good thing for you guys, imo this project is vastly superior to SPv3. There is much more thought and love put into this based on what I've seen so far, as well as an actual proper, achievable planning which you appear to mostly stick to.

The latter here really is something that alot of people struggle with in this community, so props on that!

Except for that, you know, ~2 month error period in the release estimation. But yeah other than that stickin' to that schedule!

But in all serious, this does look friken amazing

I think a 2 month error rate is véry reasonable, for these reasons:
1) They work on this in their spare time, activity will always have highs and lows
2) Most other projects here don't even get finished
3) Even AAA game studios deal with delays that can go up to years, and this concerns professionals working 5 days a week

Not serious.

Of course a finished product later is better than a broken one now.

Yet some of their games are buggy pieces of crap. Looking at you Watch_Dogs, Master Chief Collection (Though I heard that H1's hit detection is fixed in that version recently), AC Unity, Sonic Boom, and pretty much every Ubisoft game in general.

Of course, that is the nature of man-made products. Some things will suck, some things won't. In this case, all I refer to is stuff that actually gets finished in a decent state.

I do love it when people start complaining about user-made content being delayed.

Maybe CMT should give the complainers a refund.

Quite the opposite, I am giving praise to user-made content being finished!

Compared to the sheer amount of stuff in TSC:E, FP legs are very very very low priority. To be honest I don't think we'd have the space even if we did have such a system functioning.

Are there any plans to improve the grenadier MA5? The last I saw of it, it looked more like it had an oversized spotlamp than an underbarrel grenade launcher.

I believe Kirby has it working, but it won't work with the H1 animations for the Chief. We'd have to switch over to H2 animations and we don't rip from other games.

I don't think CMT really cares how long we've been waiting when they have more important priorities, like providing us with a finished, polished, unbroken product.

Is there any tangible progress? The picture you posted on the 15th is exactly the same as the one you posted on the 11th which is exactly the same as the one you posted on December 2nd.

i have been updating a single picture hosted on dropbox so i don't have to go back and edit the main post every time.

wait, no. that's not right. sorry everyone -- we've actually been sitting around doing nothing. actually we've been deleting parts of the map, reversing progress that had previously been made!

It's because we've been bad this year. This is our metaphorical lump of coal.
