There really wasn't any reason for it anyway because Halo 2 is already playable on PC. Unless they were adding CMT assets to Halo 2, like with SPVtres. I haven't been keeping up with it well.

Anyway, looks like I'll be buying my first console soon. :)

Honestly, how can anyone be butthurt at this point? There is nothing you should be mad about. 343i's announcement is currently the big talking point of the Xbox E3 press event. Everyone on Bnet is actually thanking 343 (they REALLY hated them before this day). What more could you ask for? I'm sure that the almighty Dennis has soiled his pants. Plus, all the PC exclusive maps are included as well!

Only 6 of h2 maps are remade. There are 100+ classic maps.

How many times has M$ promised us something big? That the next Halo Journey begins with a big step. This is not a big step. This is false advertising. They did promise us something big. And did they deliver? A $60 makeover of the Storyline Games? That's rubbish.

I will not be buying this "collection" nor will I be supporting it. 343i can go hang themselves in my opinion. Down with 343i and down with the continuation of the Halo Saga by incompetent tools.

All 4 games on XB1, with upgraded graphics? Never mind H2 Ani? It's a pretty good deal for anyone who enjoyed HCE:A. Nevermind all the MP upgraded and made easily available, with all maps? Including H2V maps?

Plus a Halo Movie and the H5 beta?

It all looks good to me. I especially am curious to see what H3 finally looks like in HD, the 360 version was neutered by the HDR system.

Edit: Also I should add it won't be surprising to get the Gearbox MP maps in this too, which I could play all day long.

1. It's bad because they're bringing the games to the Xb1, trying to sell the because of "grafix"
2. It's bad because they hyped it up to being something big and amazing, and it's not. It's just a $60 makeover a prostitute uses after she has finished work with one guy.
3. Halo Movie? H5 beta? ARE YOU KIDDING?! If they make a Halo movie, it'll look as gimmicky as FUD. And the H5 beta? I'll give it a chance.

All in all, they've used false advertising schemes to get fanboys like you to wet your pants. You really are all idiots.

Its just cool because you can literally play all of the halo multiplayers at once.

it looks like they put halo 4 into it, its hideous, I alreay know they put h4 audio into it, makes it worse

1. There is nothing wrong with them bringing these games to XB1, its the new console, with more capabilities. The old versions are all still available on the old console if you don't like this version.

They are literally combining 4 games into 1, and also allowing for CE multiplayer, 2 multiplayer, 3 multiplayer, and 4 multiplayer, all at once, on console, with matchmaking FOR ALL OF THEM! Bringing back H2 and HCE to the competitive online arena on console where they originated. A complete graphical rebuild of Halo 2 campaign, as well as 6 of its MP maps. It also includes the Halo 5 Beta, and the digital series, and its all the price of one game. Thats a pretty damn good deal. If you are too jaded and cynical to understand the benefits of this version then you are being intentionally naive. Good day sir.

Yes, the fact that Halo 2 now has Forge is pretty damn amazing. Mad genius's over at 343....

Halo 2 also has Co-op over live in this version for anyone who is interested.

Of course it be for XB1, you can't play any of the Halo's on XB1, and eventually the 360 will be phased out. If I want to play Halo, why should I need 2 systems? As it stands now, there are only 3 Halo games you can play online. This offers you the ability to play Halo 1 and Halo 2 online, as well as fixes H3's fragmentation and loading problems.

You also get the remastered H2 Campaign, a re release of the H1 and H4 campaigns with slightly upgraded visual fidelity, and H3 which will finally be in HD.

Never mind you get a whole new match making system that combines all 4 games, over 100 maps, and apparently if I heard Franky right, forge for H2.

Compare this $60 value to that of the one you got for $40 with H1 Ani.. which was well worth the money especially with the online Co-op mode (which h2 now gets as well).

It seems a bit harsh to judge the movie before we've even seen anything... the budget this time is much higher, and it's being executive produced by Ridley Scott and is obviously a tentpole for the Spielberg series being done with Showtime and is also suppose to be the first big original content offering from MS, so I highly doubt it will be as crappy as FUD.

Sounds to me like you're just angry cause you wanted H5 this year... this is a pretty nice package which will keep me entertained well until H5 is out.

On another note someone should tweet at Franky or 343i, asking why the PC maps won't be included. It makes no sense to me why they wouldn't include those... especially now that you can have large amounts of players in H1 online.

My only complaint about this is the lack of ODST... That game deserves so much love that it doesn't get.

Why include the worst game of the series? Even reach was better then that crap.

ODST was pretty cool... probably holding Reach and ODST and Halo Wars back for another collection to release after H5. Although I think everyone wants to forget Reach.

Sorry bro, but ODST had some of the best atmosphere of the entire series, and that is a fact. Whether or not the whole game is one of the best is an opinion.

Realy? Because if there was one halo game that lacked the real halo feeling that the previous installments had, it would be halo odst. Only reason to get that game was for the complete halo 3 mp. Even reach felt a little bit like a halo game. But this is all opinion.

Well that was the point of it lol, offer a different feel, mood and atmosphere than the rest of the series.

Yeah they said PC extra maps from Halo 1 and Halo 2 will not be on them.
