Considering we haven't seen a proper FPS return of the flood since 2007 this is exciting. I wonder if they plan to mix this in with their new main title or another off-shoot like Halo Wars or SA.

I feel there's a reason for that.
There's only so many times you can pull the "OH PLOT TWIST FLOOD!!11!!" formula before it starts to get stale. In my honest opinion the whole Forerunner/Flood shebang has really more than overstayed its welcome in terms of impacting the lore. |

I hated the Flood... I really hope 343i will make them more interesting (and I mean creepy, instead of annoying like in Halo 3) because I'm fine without them...

I'd love to see halo wars 2. The first game was so addictive and a great time passer, especially with multiplayer matches that could be so evenly matched and strategically intense that it could take an entire afternoon to reach a victor.

I'd love to see halo wars 2 provided it's a full-fledged PC strategy game first and foremost instead of just a neutered console RTS.
Not gonna happen even if they manage to overcome the whole dissolution of Ensemble, though. |

I mean SA (bad game, blah blah blah) came out on PC, and along with Halo Wars as they both are Spinoff Halo games. Although that is a pretty hard stretch, I know. |
