How can I make the hands move along with the weapon when animating in 3ds max because when I move the weapon the hands just stay where they are? http://youtu.be/VTOv4O6ZlRo Probably like in this video (hands move with the weapon but shoulders stay in place)? I have already linked the "frame gun" to right hand wrist and the left hand cyborg to left hand wrist but what else should I do?

That's probably because the weapon, frames and nodes must be linked to the frame gun.

Yep, that tutorial helped, thx! But now I have another problem, whenever I try to import a custom weapons animation into 3ds max, it says ""frame gun" should be child of a node "frame bone24"" even though I have linked the frame gun to right wrist and the cyborg hand thingy to left wrist. I basically just import the animation so that I could get the starting position so that I wouldn't need to do it myself. I'm not getting this problem withoriginal halo guns though, just custom ones. Anybody know how to fix this?

You should be able to fix this by simply linking frame gun to frame bone 24.
I had the same problem when I started.
Just select frame gun, then hit the link icon. Then hit "H" on your keyboard. Scroll through the object list until you find frame bone 24.
Double click it and it should be fixed.

-_- I'm starting to hate this s***. Sorry for asking help again, but now that I have done the animation, I'm getting this error while exporting: "Node indexing failed". I red somewhere that it meant that you have too many parent nodes. Well in my case frame L upperarm and frame R upperarm weren't linked to frame bone24, but to small little boxes, so that I could move the upper arms independently (if they are linked to frame bone24, they move with bone 24, no chance moving them where I want) The error goes away when I link the arms to frame bone24, but now my hands dont move like I want, so how can I make the upper arms move independently, even though they are linked to frame bone24?
