When i try to compile Deathisland map i made it gives me this error

culling uncompressed model vertices...done
culling uncompressed structure bsp vertices...done
culling uncompressed model animation data...done
building predicted resources for structures...done
structure bsp 'levels\test\deathisland\deathisland' is 4.81M
tag headers and names are 0.26M
streaming model vertex and index buffers...done
streaming tags.................................done
writing vertex and index buffers...done 13.05M
writing tags...done (3354 tags for 8.29M)
total tag size is 13.10M (9.90M free)
cache file 19.64M too large (should be 128.00M but was 147.64M)
### FAILED TO BUILD CACHE FILE.

But idk why it is too big. i compiled it before but i only have 10 weapons, and 3 vehicles on the map. (P.S i recently added "zteam" tag pack to my tags folder if this has any significance)

No, from the .scenario before you compile it.
Add the tags one by one and see which one is giving you the error when you compile.

Not from the tags folder, but open the .scenario in either guerilla or sapien and remove them that way, then make sure to hit file, and save.

it wouldn't be possible for the tags to still be there if you removed them, unless you didn't save it after you removed them.

then you need to readd your tags but knowing you have went 19mb over with the last build,
open sauce was mentioned there, it allows you go higher than the standard 128mb limit that is allowed.
so if you absolutely have to have all the tags in the build, then that is an option.

Did you open the .scenario in os_sapien, before loading it in normal sapien or using normal tool?

If so you would have noticed that a backup is advised if you want to alter a scenario in os then play with
that same scenario in normal sapien.

http://forum.halomaps.org/index.cfm%3Fpage=topic&topicID=40223

remember to read this to understand os.

Can i use HEK plus to extract them and have it work for OS. or do i need to have some other extracting tool?

no idea,
i would just create a scenario, and this time keep a backup before opening it
in another tool you are not familiar with. make sure that if you are going to use open sauce to
get over the tag limit, that you use the OS tool and commands to do that.

You need to remove the tags from the pallets, you know how you added them in the first place; "edit pallet > add > whatever" - you need to delete them from there, all the ones that have not been placed need to be deleted.

No matter if you delete them from the scene so you do not see them, if they are in the pallet, tool still compiles them.

You can't use regular tool on maps opened with OS (which seems to be the case). Even if you want to compile a map file.

use
os_tool build-cache-file-ex "" 0 0 0 levels\test\di\di
to compile a .map file

os_tool build-cache-file-ex "" 0 0 1 levels\test\di\di
to compile a .yelo file and have more tagspace
