Alright, I'm gonna say it right off the bat. I have windows 8. I don't want any replies to the effect of "upgrade to windows 7", all I want are serious, helpful replies.
Basically, my scripting seems shot. When I compile the scripts in OS_sapien, it says "scripts successfully compiled"... even when I purposely make syntax mistakes to test it out. When I compile the map through OS_tool I can load up the map just fine, but none of the scripts work.
I asked a couple people, and they said something about running things as an admin or in compatibility mode. I've tried doing both on all the HEK apps, but all that seems to happen is either nothing happens or something breaks. What can I do?

Ok, what I am going to tell you is not a sure thing but, for OS, I have seen in the project_yellow tag a specific sub menu which says "scripts".I haven't test it out, I don't know either but you may have to put your scripts there...

Oh it's not that, it's with the stock HEK too. And besides, my scripting used to work normally before all this stuff started.
