When i add a weapon tag to Battlecreek (Sapien calls it Beavercreek) and i "tool build-cache-file \levels\test\beavercreek\beavercreek" everything checks out there is no errors. but when i go the the map in Halo CE the weapons to not appear. and its not just modded ones either. nothing will. only scenery. not even the default weapons. Vehicles either. Maybe they are not allowed in beavercreek??? anyone got an idea of what's going on? Edited by DukeJohn on Jan 28, 2014 at 11:31 AM

Well, if you want to add weapons to a map don't just place it like you place scenery. Go to netgame equipment in sapien and add the weapon you want from there. First you have to make an item.collection tag to use it. Go to querilla, make a new item.collection tag, set weight to 100 and add the weapon file you want. Then add it in game.

Pretty much what he said. If you place a .weapon tag under the "weapon" section in Halo, it reads it as a single-player weapon. When you join a MP map, the game will be confused and delete it.
Item collections have a respawn time and other additional things which is why the game uses that for MP

Open Guerilla. Select New. Choose item_collection. Set weight to 100. Under the list bellow select weapon. Press the "..." Add the weapon tag you want. Save it. Now open Sapien. Go to Game Data, Netgame Eguipment. Select one of the excisting permutations. Press the "..." and replae whatever weapon is there with the item collection you created before. Save. Compile the map. You are done.

that's not what i mean i know that xD but thanks anyway... But why when i try to Extract any map it always comes up with an error something like "MSLIB has encountered an error; Cannot Access File (random path in map file) because it is being used by another process" but it is not possible to be used by another process because i just started my PC and this was the FIRST program i loaded... got any idea why? NO MAP WILL WORK Except Battlecreek that is the ONLY one that will.

You cant see the file because you never ran the tools as admin, so they saved your files in a compatabillity folder.
