I am having a bit of a problem with joining my dedicated server, whenever I try to join it gives me the error message for invalid cd key. The strange thing is if I simply join any random server online I am allowed to play and have yet to get the same message. Any ideas for a fix? (btw I run the server on a separate computer in case any one thinks along those lines.)

Just to be on the safe side, Do you own Halo PC legitly? If you have a pirated copy that error will happen a lot.

I used the one from my legit edition and for randomly joining servers it works just not joining my own.

Two people running the same key can't play together I think. You might be using the same key on both of your machines, which leads to this problem, regardless of having a legit key or not, But if you have a public one, hardly anyone would join your server due to the amount of people who likely have that same key).
