any body know of any reskins for the default ce maps?
Is it possible to do it myself? HMT won't work with custom edition maps, even when I convert them. |

There are several reskinned maps, some of which look pretty good. I know that Blood Gulch has desert, snow, grassland, and other skin variations, although I'm afraid I can't remember the names of any of these of the top of my head.

A while back someone was actually working on remaking the default textures. He disappeared though and I don't think anyone has his work sadly.

Alright. Since I'd be using HEK, if I hypothetically added backpack weapons and stuff, would I be able to play those maps online with other people?

If you distribute the .map file that you create then yes. (this site hosts them)

Ahhhh Halo you've really fricked me again. I just wanna make it more visually pleasing.

yeah a couple, I have snow grove, extinction, foundary etc installed
