shell bitmaps

I made some new bitmaps for my new hud im working on for gametypes and post game and pause and stuff but when I compile my map there not in there =(

im trying to change the game type icon for my new hud does anyone know the trick to get the shells in there?

team_background is the one. im trying to change


I cant find where there is a shader refrenceing the bitmap where its it refrenced and changing the bitmap does not seem to do any good its still in my map =(

i believe the gametype icons are included in the .hud_globals tags

I cant replace the ui folder I don't need halo2 stuff my ui is custom so whats in there that makes it work?

also I added a new detail map to my ar and now everytime I compile I get this error,,,

bitmaps: Tried to add item h4\weapons\storm_assault_rifle\bitmaps\storm_assault_rifle_default_detail__pixels with different size (21844) than expected (2744).

how can I fix it?

I resaved all the shaders but no go,....

Don't know about the H4 thing, but by removing the gametype .bitmaps from the shell folder and trying to compile, I got an error pointing to a .tag_collection:

ui\ui_tags_loaded_multiplayer_scenario_type.tag_collection

About 3 slots down in the file are where the .bitmaps are being referenced. It doesn't seem to give any options or control over where the bitmaps are anchored, however.
This sounds about right, because I vaguely remember some time ago someone was trying to alter these images, but didn't have much luck achieving their H3-like hud.

you cant blank out the images or make newones but if you replace them with broken tags or open them and remove the bitmap data then that works the images dissaper copileing newones didn't work but useing the tags from the h2 hud did.

wish I could used my new ones but at least the ugly thing is out of my hud.

unfortunaly I have no indicator as to what game type is being played now.
it give compile errors saying the bitmaps where different size but it works.
