The marines don't look like this in retail Halo. Other than their armor, they don't look like this in the E3 2000 trailer either. Is this from before or after the E3 trailer? Screenshot in question: E3 2000 Marine: Retail Marine: Edited by Banshee64 on Sep 7, 2013 at 02:40 PM

It's the color of the uniform under the armor. The render is a lot more of a greenish tint than the e3 one.

I would say before, because the e3 marines cloth color is closer to the retail color. The first render is definitely green-tinted, while the e3 and retail marines share a more grayish color. It's possible that they went gray (for e3) then green (for the render) before going back to gray in retail, but I think it's more likely that it was originally green (as in the render) then changed to gray for e3.

The model is indeed E3 marines, but the textures are different in the render and the e3 trailer.
