Yoda, those tutorials. <3.
So I've created a light rifle and animated it using ZTeam's h2 elite fp.
its ok.
I've ran into a problem, when the weapon is out of ammo it neglects the reload animation and goes on to fire as if it took .000001 seconds to reload. the only way of playing the animation is too manually reload. I checked the amount of ammo in the mag and it was not over filled.
its just an smg that worked properly, only with my light rifle stuff slapped on. And yes I see that the ammo counter is a bit off (not the problem)

no i will not tag them for you. I'm not sure how to rig. (yet. <3 Yoda)

my project Heretic Hunt (don't pronounce that wrong) is coming along pretty well.
i'll make an actual thread for it some day.

don't forget about that problem I had. help plz.

OH anyone have the glowing textures?
raw sounds would be cool too. and other Promethean weapons.

Glad you like them!!

That is an interesting problem your having with the reloads.

try opening your .model_animation file and scroll down to the "First Person Weapons" section. The click on the drop-down under "Animations" and select reload-empty. If there is no animation selected for it try selecting your reload animation from the list.

There should be two different animations for reloads. One for empty and one for full, if your reload-empty animation was named incorrectly when you compiled it may not have automatically assigned it. It isn't really a problem you just have to manually select it. (if you want to you can also just use the same animation for both, just make sure something is selected and try it again)

Let me know if that works.

At the bottom of the animation tag, select your reload animation from the dropdown list. Then set the "key frame index" of the animation to the frame at which the weapon can be said to have reloaded (i.e. when the cartridge has been replaced).

yeah found the problem, I had opened the halo assault rifle animations as a reference. It was had the animation named first-person reload-full2 not reload-empty, so I followed.
forgot about that.
