One question though. What happens if I made a map in Cry engine and then export it to contingency will it work?

No because you can't tamper with an already compiled game or add anything. And replacing files will probably just break the game entirely.

This team could really pull together and make something amazing, and certainly could leave an impression that could get Halo back on PC. I had the chance to work on this back in May as an environment artist (my username is D. Emile on your forums) and I chose not to continue because I don't agree with the game's target gameplay model. In communication with one of the head devs, I never got a straight answer as to why you guys were pursuing the 32v32 model, and when I asked if the original arena types were being considered (2v2,4v4,8v8), I got a "no." Is this still the case.

At present, Master Noob is far and away the best artist on the team. Covenant and organic stuff is great. Everything else just doesn't compare in terms of quality, model, you name it. Beginning with the Assault Rifle and the Battle Rifle, everything looks slapped together for the sake of detail. It's not even a good kind of greeble, a lot of the insets, extrusions, and bevels are just a mess. It doesn't look like it would've taken long to do at all. You can bake normals onto it all you want in hopes that it looks better, at the end of the day the models are still bad. That's also not what a 7.62mm round looks like.

I have more to say, but I'm short on time. I'll edit my post later with more stuff.

BASICALLY, Covenant stuff is way overshadowing UNSC stuff. It's Cryengine, take advantage of more detail.

Yep Masternoob's assets is the only reason people get interest in this project.

But that BR looks pretty good to me. And that red color quite appeals me...

I have no involvement with the game. So I wouldn't know :| I just like their stuff.

I spoke to HaloFollower about Contingency and he told me that he will upload a video about contingency tommorrow.

I always thought that Contingency would be a 4v4, 6v6, 8v8 for multiplayer, but 32v32? I thought this was impossible to achieve.

the two of you seriously need to chill the hell out.

In a network test that was done previously (you'll notice the default cryengine Abram tanks in the video), you could get some 100+ people into a server without much issue. Cryengine also natively supported 64 player matches back for crysis 1, so it wouldn't be surprising if they carried the code over.

On the note of how that'll work, ideally you should be able to play games on the larger maps with little issue because the maps would be catered for larger battles, while you could have custom games or playlists on smaller maps that would have been created for that purpose (or somewhat like what reach did, taking larger maps and splitting them into sections where arena combat is easily worked in)

What are you talking about? Shadow ban? What the hell is that? Youtube channel? Who cares about a youtube channel I never heard of before? If you were banned it was for conduct in the forum or you share an IP with someone else who was banned.

Of course you can use a proxy. With over 4 billion IP addresses we can't block all proxies. However, unless your conduct changes the result will be the same.

And then like the guy above you, you'll make up some kind of weird excuse where it wasn't your fault you were banned.

As long as you are using the same version(or similar) of Cryengine as us and set up all the necessary multiplayer entities then for the most part yes.
